General information only

Content on Retract Wise is general information about retractable awnings, screens and related products. It is not professional engineering, electrical, legal or financial advice, and it cannot account for the specific conditions of your property or product.

Safety

Installing, adjusting and repairing retractable systems can be dangerous. Lateral arm springs store substantial energy and can cause serious injury if released. Work at height, structural fastening and electrical work carry their own risks. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your product, local building and electrical codes, and use a qualified professional when in doubt.

Estimates and calculators

Cost ranges, energy estimates, shade calculations, wind guidance and sizing results are planning estimates based on stated assumptions. Real results vary. Confirm sizes and specifications with your supplier and installer before ordering.
